There is no better place to host a sporting event than Miami. Where else can you visit sunny beaches, enjoy warm weather and wear comfortable clothing in the month of February? With both the NFL Pro Bowl and Super Bowl in town, there will also be thousands of visitors, fans, celebrities and of course, plenty of NFL football action! With the Pro Bowl being played before the Super Bowl, there will be twice as much action and a chance for football fans to cheer like never before. There also should be plenty of memorable moments in both games. Say what you want about the meaningfulness of the Pro Bowl in comparison to other pro all star games, but there is no denying some of the NFL’s most talented athletes from both the AFC and NFC will be making the trip to play here. Couple that with the Saints marching in and the Peyton Manning-led Indianapolis Colts in town and it makes for the kind of buzz we are currently enjoying. Of course there is the economic up tick that South Florida will enjoy, from the celebrity parties, to the restaurants, hotels, stores, cab drivers and the list goes on. But for us nothing will be more enjoyable this year than the fervor of having the game in our town when we embark on our own private Super Bowl parties. So let’s continue to be the best host and enjoy the sensation as we navigate through the congestion and the sacrifice of our normalcy, after all the opportunity cost is fun, economic benefits, and all eyes on our wonderful hometown.
