The final playoffs spots have been filled, as Juventus and Thunderbolts join the Ft. Lauderdale Rebels, FC International, Unity FC and BC United in the CASA Super League 2009 post season.

The quarter finals will be held at the Lauderhill Sports Complex on Saturday May 16, 2009 as fourth seed Unity FC will take on fifth seed BC United at 6:15 pm and third seed Juventus will play sixth seed Thunderbolts at 8:15 pm. The winners of those two games will be joined in the semi-finals at the same venue on Saturday May 30 by #1 seed Ft. Lauderdale Rebels and second seed FC International, who both secured byes.

Going into their final game of the regular season, Juventus needed a win against the undefeated Rebels. Within 20 minutes of the start, the game was well over when Juventus went into a 4-0 lead, with goals from Ray Graham and Omar Ellen with two each. Graham went on to notch a hat trick and Juventus went on to score four more goals. Rebels came back to make the score more respectable when they scored five goals to make that final score a 9-5 in favor of Juventus.

With that result, the two powerhouse teams of the league for the past five years, Western FC and Fort Lauderdale Blazers were eliminated. In the five years that the league has been in existence, both teams have won two championships each.

This year, there will be a new champion, with Fort Lauderdale Rebels being the favorite.

The final will be held at the Lauderhill Sports Complex on Saturday June 6 at 8:15 pm
