Chris Paul's trade to the LA Lakers from the New Orleans Hornets has been blocked by the NBA. He however could still be moving to LA this season, but instead as a member of the LA Clippers.

Miami Heat

The Miami Heat team has obtained the services of free agent Shane Battier. Shane is expected to give the Heat's offense another shooting and defence present for the holidays. Shane played last year in the play-offs for the surprise team Memphis Grizzlies.

Dwight Howard wants to move on

Orlando Magic's superstar center "Superman" is said to have put in a request to be traded. The management of the Orlando Magic has not indicated that they will heed his request.
