FortLauderdaleStrikersIn a thrilling encounter, the Fort Lauderdale Strikers drew 2-2 with the San Antonio Scorpions on Saturday April 21 at the Heroes Stadium in San Antonio Texas. It was the Strikers' first away game and their third game of the season.

The Strikers must again thank their striker Andy Herron for getting both goals, one in each half, against the spirited Scorpions. The Scorpions twice came from behind to level the score and get a share of the points. The Scorpions' goals were scored by Pablo Campos and Hans Denissen, who grabbed the equalizer in time added on.

Strikers will now turn their attention to their Wednesday home encounter on April 25, at 7:30 p.m. at Lockhart Stadium, Fort Lauderdale, against league leaders Puerto Rico Islanders. The Puerto Rico Islanders also remain unbeaten with three wins, a tie and a total of 10 points. The Islanders are led by the attacking trio of Jamaican Nicholas Addlery, Jonathan Faña, and David Foley.

The Strikers will then embark on their second away game when they travel to Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg to face the Tampa Bay Rowdies on Saturday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m.
