| Fight for playoff spots heats up as season winds down |

Last year’s champions Unity FC was soundly beaten by new comers Universitaro 4-1 in their Caribbean America Soccer Association (CASA) encounter at the Lauderhill Sports Complex, last Friday. Scoring for Universitaro was Stuart Duffin with two goals, and one a piece from Mike Adeyemi and Mahlon Sullivan. Romaro Francis scored for Unity FC in a losing effort. With this result Unity FC’s place in the playoffs is now in doubt. BC United moves into the third spot after thrashing bottom of the tables team South Florida Pumas by 5-0. Winder Webster notched a hat trick while Andrew Clark and Martin Condell wrapped up the scoring for the victors. Meanwhile, Carib United continues to chase the playoffs holding down the sixth spot. In the feature game on Saturday against Thunderbolts they came away with a 3-1 win to move them within one point of a playoff spot. Jermaine Hardy hit a double and Horace Maxwell added the other goal. In the reschedule game on Sunday FC Internaxionle demolished BFUT Brazil 11-1 in a rout. Adrian Vassell scored a hat trick, Mark Williams, Anthony McNab and Orlando Lawrence added 2 goals a piece. While Peter Muschette and Ramone Russell added one goal each. Greg Edma scored Brazil consulation goal. This result moves FC Internaxionle into 2nd place on goal difference.
