Haiti moves four points ahead of their nearest rivals BC United in the CASA Super League after beating last year's champions Unity FC by a score of 2-1 at the Lauderhill Sports Complex.

Yveson Etienne scored a double for Haiti to bring his tally for the season to 8 goals.  This puts him 1 goal behind league leading scorer and his strike partner Patrick Janvier who has 9 goals.  Lance Dacosta pulled one back for Unity late in the game after Terence Goldson was brought down in the penalty box. But it was too little too late and now Unity has an uphill battle to secure a playoff spot in the 14-team league.

Earlier in the evening Western FC fought off the challenge of FC Internaxionle by a score of 3-0. Western goal scorers were Marivn Mundai with 2 goals and Shean Bucknor added the other.  Western is now two points out of playoff contention with 14 points.
