Patrick ManningFormer Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Patrick Manning, fresh from therapy treatments at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre in Washington D.C., will be returning home in a month, according to son Brian Manning.

Brian Manning confirmed that his father was in good health following his physical and speech rehabilitation, and was walking with a cane. He was released from the hospital and is recuperating with family in Maryland.

He was moved to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center following request by family members after concerns emerged over the quality of the heart medication provided to him.
