Amidst pandemonium in downtown Kingston, the government is denying that it has signed extradition papers for alleged kingpin Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke, according to reports out of the island.

Rumors of the signing have ignited a demonstration in West Kingston prompting businesses to shutdown their operations and send employees home.

Police and soldiers have increased their presence on the streets of Kingston in case violence erupts, as residents report hearing gunfire.

Prime Minister Bruce Golding, who has been under persistent pressure to resign for his role in the Manatt, Phelps and Phillips and the Coke extradition saga, according to the Jamaica Labor Party (JLP) will not resign as he has done nothing that warrants his resignation.
