Fortunate Pompano residents can receive much needed help with their Citizen Property Insurance policies at their "Office Hours" session, on Wednesday, June 13, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

State Representative Gwyndolen Clarke-Reed announced that her offices will host the state insurer's sessions, at the Pompano Beach City Hall on 100 West Atlantic Boulevard. A senior staff member within Citizens will be available to answer questions and assist constituents experiencing difficulties with their policy.

Participants however must make an appointment to secure their space. No walk-ins are allowed. To register, call Representative Clarke-Reed's Pompano Beach office at 954-786-4848 to schedule your appointment.

Citizens Property Insurance is currently the largest insurer in Florida, responsible for providing insurance coverage to state residents unable to find affordable alternatives on the private market. There however have been many recent changes in insurance rates and coverage packages, causing some uncertainty for many policy-holders.
