Miami-Dade Sunday, May 6 Women in Production Miami Beach Convention Center will host the second day of the 2012 Women in Production trade and retail showcase, from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The showcase will display the best products and services from Haiti's top women entrepreneurs and artisans, including limited-edition series in home décor, fashion and accessories, natural herbal cosmetics, and spa and wellness products. Wednesday, May 9 Stories from Haiti/Contes d'Haiti Every Wednesday in May, the North Miami Public Library will host "Stories from Haiti," from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Call 305-891-5535 for more information. Saturday, May 12 "Natif" art exhibit opening at the Haitian Heritage Museum The Haitian Heritage Museum will host an opening reception for the launch of their exhibit, "Natif," displaying the museum's private collection from the Primitive Art Movement. West Palm Beach Tuesday, May 8 Krik Krak: Haitian Stories with Maude Heurtelou Haitian-American writer and children's author, Maude Heurtelou, will host the "Krik Krak" Haitian stories reading series at the Palm Beach County Lantana Road Library Branch in Lake Worth, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. For more information, call 561-304-4500.
