Celebrate South Florida's melting pot of cultures at the Miramar Unity Fest this Saturday, April 21, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Miramar Town Center. This special event is free to the public and will showcase the best food, music and all-out fun in South Florida.

The Unity Fest concert will feature musical performances by Haitian fusion stars Magnum Band, reggaeton star Jay Maly, reggae star Red Rat, country music artist Jo Dee Messina, jazz fusion band Free Radicals, Miami hip-hop group Gucci Crew and popular Cuban reggaeton group Randy y el Chavo.

The concert will also feature performances by the Taiko Japanese Drumming group Fushu Daiko, Indian dance group Maharaj Performing Troupe and the Polynesian Dancers (Hawaii) troupe.

Miramar's Police Athletic League will also be at the event celebrating National P.A.L. Mentoring Day, with events for both parents and children to enjoy. For the kids, Radio Disney will be providing arts and crafts activities and giveaways, while the Caveman Games Trailer will also provide gaming fun.

A special surprise also awaits Dolphin fans at the festival. Members of Miami Dolphins will be at the Kids Zone play area to meet fans and sign autographs. Attendants can also explore the wide selection of international food and novelties available for purchase through vendors at the event.
