Hip-hop darling Nicki Minaj may be heading back to Trinidad and Tobago come August, if collaboration talks with officials from Fashion Week Trinidad and Tobago (FWTT) prove successful.
FWTT officials confirm that they are presently in talks with the rap star's representation about possible collaborations for this year's event, set for October 22 to 28. No news however about the nature of the collaboration, be it music, fashion or otherwise. This year's fashion week though is focused on celebrating Trinidad and Tobago's 50th anniversary of independence
Minaj just completed shooting a music video in Trinidad and Tobago for her next single, "Pound the Alarm," which features video cameos from soca legend Machel Montano and the "fire man" Bunji Garlin.
Behind the scenes photos show Minaj and a crew of dancers decked out in full carnival style, with a riot of red feathers and sequins. |
