The festival will feature world music headliners Midnite, Cultura Profetica, Easy Star All Stars, Gondwana, Jahfé, Mykal Somer, Ephniko, Jean P Jam, as well as some of world music's most promising up-and-coming talent. This festival will feature a full day of family-oriented, environmentally-friendly activities including a farmer's market, yoga demonstrations, bike valet, ecology and social consciousness workshops, and more. Produced by ROCKAZ MVMT, the Budweiser One Love Nutrifest was designed as a fun-filled day of social consciousness through music, propelled by an urgent humanitarian need to fight poverty and protect the environment on a global scale. Music, art, fashion and food from around the world provide the backdrop to a truly amazing cultural experience. This year, concert proceeds will include a food drive benefiting Curley's House, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for low-to-moderate income individuals, families, the elderly, youth-at-risk, the abused, and HIV/AIDS infected individuals by providing the nutrition they need. Guests will be asked to contribute two or more cans of food as part of the cost of admission. Through the universal language of music, as well as vision for the arts and cultural media, ROCKAZ MVMT and its president and CEO Alfonso D'Niscio Brooks is striving to change the world for the better by empowering people to make a positive difference as he believes everyone has a responsibility to make our world a better and healthier place. "It's great to have fun," said Brooks. "But it's imperative that we do it in an environmentally responsible way. February 18 will be a day on which all Miami residents dedicate themselves to helping better themselves and the environment. It will be a day to get back in touch with the environment that sustains and enriches the lives of everyone who lives, works, visits and plays in Miami." "Our ultimate goal is to uplift the spirit and inspire people of every ilk to give of themselves to help make the world a better place in which to live," said D'Niscio Brooks. "We're accomplishing this task by spreading art, culture and music while raising money to end poverty, feed the hungry and shelter the homeless." "We've made entry to the event free for everyone who arrives before 2 p.m.," said Brooks. "This will allow the entire community to be a part of our vision for social consciousness, community and environmental awareness." "Given the philanthropic nature of this event, we're inviting all civic minded companies to join us as partners in this event," D'Niscio Brooks said. "It's a great way to get your name in front of thousands of people while ensuring that hundreds of thousands of dollars are donated to a very worthy cause." The Budweiser One Love Nutrifest is scheduled for Saturday February 18, 2012 at the brand new Grand Central Park 721 NW 1st Ave in Downtown Miami.
