The indelible sandpapery voice crooner, Beres Hammond, is set to make fans rock away “for the love of it” at the Seminole Hard Rock Live in Hollywood on July 23. The singer, whose repertoire is vast, well known and well loved, has the reputation of being an excellent performer, who never ceases to please with his songs of injured love and his many odes to women. Not many artistes can boast the longevity and the popularity of Beres Hammond, in addition to his never-ending list of hits. Many of them have been etched into the minds of fans over the years. Hammond's music goes down smoothly because of its fusion of reggae, soul and even dancehall, creating a unique kind of lover’s rock that keeps fans coming back for every show where Beres performs. And in addition to his prowess as a singer, one cannot deny his ability to rule the stage – once Beres is on, he is blazing. With songs such as “Step Aside”, “Come Back Home”, “One Dance” “Tempted to Touch”, “No Disturb Sign”, “Full Attention”, Can’t Stop A Man From Trying”, “Love From A Distance”, They Gonna Talk” and so many others, Beres will have a hard time choosing. For good measure, the internationally known Inner Circle of “Bad Boys” fame, Kenyatta Hill from the group Culture and Lenya Wilks will round out the line-up. Fans to this show can expect to be entertained and will definitely have enough of their favorite songs to rock to throughout the night. - S.M.
