After Monday’s sold out concert at the American Airlines Arena in Miami and raving reviews for R&B crooner Maxwell, one would think everything was copacetic with his tour. So imagine how many eyebrows were raised when Maxwell on Tuesday canceled the second leg of the nationwide tour with Jill Scott and Erykah Badu.

Unfortunately, no details or reasons were offered for the shocker. The concert seems to be doing pretty well, since it sold out in NYC’s Madison Square Garden and L.A.’s Staples Center. So it seems it was not a matter of ticket sales.

Rumors are swirling that Maxwell has been confronted by Scott and Badu about his “bad attitude” and he decided to pull the plug. Odd… but I bet we will soon know what’s behind the move.
