The Ethiopian Lion Family Community Youth Movement presents A Musical Outcry and Fundraiser The M.I.S.S.I.O.N Unfinished Business: “A tribute to the International women and child, OUTCRY against Drugs and Violence in Jamaica and S. Florida” at Samuel Delevoe Park Sistrunk Blvd. Fort Lauderdale, FL On Sunday, May 21, 2006.

According to Lion, the organization’s director, "The organization's mission is to make a difference in the lives of inner city youth's every where and to stir response to duty's call."

The event will feature alongside Ethiopian Lion Family Studio One Veteran, Youth Man Promotion Sugar Minott with Fyah Pashon from Jamaica and selected rising artists from South Florida who will deliver conscious roots reggae and culture rhythms all backed by The Nubian Players Band. The Lion Cub youths will be drumming and singing spiritual melodies.

There will also be authentic Caribbean foods, natural juices, games, and storytelling and bounce houses for the children. This event is FREE admission with love donations of necessary school supplies for underprivileged children in Jamaica. This event is from 10 am - 6 pm and welcomes any sponsorship or monetary donations. This Ras Tafari Reunification aims to feed the multitude by spreading the universal message of H.I.M. Haile Sellassie I's love and teachings to all humanity regardless of race, religion or gender.

Since 1998, The Ethiopian Lion Family has evolved into a more centralized group, focused on producing empowering, uplifting and entertaining music with dub poetry and live drama. This Cultural gathering is a mix of faithful Ras Tafari, reggae music lovers and a mix of diverse people with a consciousness held together by a love for “family, harmony and unity” that can only be generated through music and the love of Christ. This marks the beginning of a new era for an extraordinary family of Soul-Jah's, volunteers and coordinators who make this Spiritual Movement and Reunion of family and new friends an unprecedented coming together as they celebrate Restoration.

The group will begin a tour throughout the US and the Caribbean creating change through awareness, education and culture. Jamaica shall play her part in increasing Peace and Love throughout the whole earth. By gaining resources and funds to aid their M.I.S.S.I.O.N. Movement of Israelites in Services & Solidarity towards the Innocent, Oppressed and Needy, they set out to assess the damage done to their Islands, focusing on creating self-sustaining communities. By nurturing and developing talented and creative youths who are thirsty for new opportunities, they open their arms to those suffering throughout the Diaspora and partner with others to do the same. Together, they promote the biggest Peace Tour and Event Outcry in the World.
