South Florida theatre goers will be in for a treat again as the exciting and hilarious character ‘Chu Chu’ returns in the smash hit play “More Passa Passa”.

The original Passa Passa was certainly a phenomenon, one of the biggest Jamaican hit plays and has had over 200 performances and enjoyed by aljost 250,000 patrons in Jamaica, USA, Canada and the Caribbean. The ‘Chu Chu’ character (played by Cleve Warren) has become one of the jost popular and the sale of the Passa Passa videos has boosted him to aljost cult image status.

In ‘More Passa Passa’ we have all the stars of  ‘Roots Theatre’ including Maama Man, Jooky Jam, Bad Boy Trevor, Ms Clemmie and introducing the new sensation Mee Mee. In this play, which is four years after the mix up and bangarang of “Passa Passa’ where it was discovered that Frank (Maama Man) was the father of the policeman who was in love with Frank’s daughter Yaw Yaw.   We now see the changes where everyone is trying to make something positive of their lives including Chu Chu who is planning to put on the biggest dancehall session. However, she is thwarted in every way by her rival, Mee Mee who is aided by the ‘licky, licky’ police officer (Jooky Jam). How come there are two dances at the same venue at the same time and which side is that thief on (Bad Boy Trevor)? All these question are answered at the big fashion and dance clash between Chu Chu and Mee Mee, and you the audience will enjoy this immensely as you will not only be a judge but also a part of the play.
