The recent change in the White House is proving to be contagious, and now the planet has taken on an “Obama frenzy”. That said, it was no surprise that the ICM Fest scheduled for November 16th has also made a change and will now be dubbed OBAMA FEST.

"The energy that this historic occasion has showered over the entire country, has affected our lives in all forms", said an elated Delroy Escoffery, promoter of the event. "The way we live, the way we think and right now, the way we celebrate and entertain ourselves have been affected. So it was only right that we continued to be a part of this movement and re-brand the event OBAMA FEST to further uplift the vibe and overall atmosphere of this celebration," he continued.

The pre-Thanksgiving event is scheduled to take place at the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park, Key Biscayne, Miami , and boasts the appearances of some of reggae and dancehall's top acts such as Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Mavado, Spragga Benz, Tony Rebel, Papa San, Queen Ifrica, Da'Ville, Etana, Sean Kingston, Christopher Martin, Munga Honorable, Mr Vegas, Konshens and Sight & Sound. Sean Kingston, which promoters guarantee will maintain the high standard of great performances patrons have come to expect since its inception eleven years ago.

In commemoration of the newly elected President Obama's victory, the promoters have advised that all patrons sporting an Obama t-shirt will get US$10 off the cost of the admission at the gate before 5:00 pm and parking will be absolutely free.

Gates open at noon, and the promoters urge all patrons to come out early, so as to not miss a moment of the fantastic occasion.
