 When songbird Whitney Houston fell out of the music business, it came as a blow to her fans the world over. But fans may be in for a treat if her new song with Akon Like I Never Left, is a taste of what her new album will be bringing.
The vocal powerhouse has more work to do to get her voice back to where it was, but this is encouraging news to the fans who have been waiting to hear her voice again.
While the details of her upcoming album are sketchy and we’re not sure whether the song, which was leaked, would be the first single, it is certainly a good progress for her extended hiatus.
This album, yet to be titled, will be Houston’s seventh studio work, but no specific release date is known yet. Producer Clive Davis, however, said the album will hit shelves before yearend. He said they were looking for a November release of the album.
Whitney has collaborated with a number of stars for this project including will.i.am, of the Black Eyed Peas, Sean Garrett and the beat master Timbaland.
