Now that Pro Bowl defensive end Jason Taylor as moved on to the Washington Redskins the big question is now - did the Dolphins get what they really wanted for their marquee player? Should they be happy about losing their best player for a second-round pick in 2009 and a sixth-rounder in 2010?

The Redskins obviously are elated to ad a quality player like Taylor to their roster for a   reasonable price, and Taylor himself is happy now that he got his wish of leaving a franchise with little chance to contend for the foreseeable future.

The only saving grace for the Dolphins who has no clue as to what the future holds in terms of their picks might be the fact that, had Taylor remain he most likely would not be a happy camper in Miami. And with Bill Parcells at the elm of the organization who knows what that scenario might bring. With so many unknown variables its hard to really fault the  Dolphins who had to make a decision one way or the other.
