The Caribbean American Soccer Association (CASA) Super League will put a wrap on their 2008 season this Saturday, when the highly fancied Unity FC will take on Western FC at the Lauderhill Sports Complex in Lauderhill.

Unity FC made it though to the finals with a stunning 5-0 victory over second seed B.C. United in their semi-finals encounter, while Western FC, surprisingly beat the number 1 seed and two-time Champions Ft. Lauderdale Blazers in a much tighter contest.

Unity will be favored in the contest, but Western who had a slow start to the season should not be taken lightly because although they were amongst the last to qualify for the playoffs they have shown good form in their two games played. Western has shown that they are capable of doing what it takes to win as indicated in their last game against the mighty Ft. Lauderdale Blazers.

Unity will look for their punch upfront from Jomo Turner and Terrence Goldson who both netted in the semi finals with their midfield support coming from their maestro Romero Francis who is sure to create some problems for the Western defense.

Meanwhile, Western Wesley Walton, who made the positional change from defense to the forward line and have been wreaking havoc on opposing defenders in the playoffs, will make life difficult for the Unity defenders. Walton, combined with the likes of Kenton Clarke, and Efe Moniedafe will make a formidable front line for Western. Hector Wright and Peter King will provide the general mid-field play.

Overall the contest should provide a very competitive game as the attacking Unity will match their skills against a disciplined Western team.

The curtain raiser will be at 5:30pm for 3rd place with BC United squaring off against the Blazers and at 7PM an over-40 game involving Refs, Coaches, and CASA Officials will be played ahead of the big game, which is scheduled for 8:30pm.
