Honda
Accord owners driving vehicles from the 2003 model year may have to call their
Honda dealers as Honda Motor Co. is doing a massive recall of 353,000 Accord
sedans.
The company
is concerned about possible corrosion in the windshield wiper motor, which may
cause electrical problems.
The concern
is that water may seep into an area close to the wiper motor, cause decay and
affect the circuit breaker in the motor and could eventually cause a crash.
To remedy
the problem, dealers will examine the area to ensure there is no corrosion and
put a cover in place to prevent it, or replace the vehicle if there is sign of
decay.
If you own
a 2003 Honda Accord, contact Honda at (800) 999-1009.
