We live in a racist society

Dear Editor,

When are we going to realize that America is a racist society, and stop being so surprised when incidents like that that involving this radio and TV man, Imus, is revealed. The fact is that the white man always looks down on the black man, and what is even more important is that the white people are afraid of the power and the potential of black Americans. They realize black people are making strides in all areas of American life, and they are sacred, so they will always try to insult us and beat us down.

However, all their efforts are in vein, because it has been prophesized that a black man shall rule this country, and black people, like yeast in bread, are going to eventually rise to their place at the top of the society. I don’t know when this is going to happen, but the day is at hand.

And let us not forget that although they love to claim it, American white people do not make up a majority race in this world, there are more black people, including Africans, Caribbean people and Asians; and Chinese than white people anywhere. So; glory and power to black people, and let’s just leave people like Imus to their stupidity and folly. “They know not what they do.”
