The next 7 weeks leading up to the Pennsylvania primaries is shaping up to be bloody and perhaps will totally annihilate the Democratic Party by the end. One has to wonder if this is what the Democratic leadership think is best for the party.  This can only be cut two ways - neither of which is good... the first, I'm saying skeptically, because I would hate to think that I'm right, but what the heck let's put it out there - this is the notion that this might be by design. The party itself may not be confident that a Barack Obama candidacy can carry the democratic ticket in the fall and really don't know how to put an end to the saga, without dividing the party vis a vis, turning off the massive support and rejuvination that Barack has brought to the Democratic party.
